hope you are doing great. So, with regard to your question, to get "Dr." as prefix before your name, firstly, you need to complete your MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BDS etc.,. course. This is one way. However, if you the second way, is to do PhD, in any course. PhD is the highest university degree for any course. If you did PhD, in any respective subject, then also, you will get a prefix of Dr. behind you name.
