Hey!There

By covering only 12th portion, you can't score 150+ marks out of 300 as contribution to jee MAINS syllabus by 11th and 12th portion is nearly equal..You can score 120+ marks which is fair score and also this demand lot of numerical practice of 12th portion. So buckle up and complete 12th portion with solving numbericals as much possible. And this time, try to cover important chapter from which questions frequently asked and you can get that idea from previous year papers of JEE MAINS..

Dear student, being an aspirant of JEE Mains this type of question is random. I had also given JEE Mains and from my experience I can tell you that scoring 150 in JEE Mains is not big task. You have mentioned that your 12th basics are clear but as per my opinion you should also prepare the 11th syllabus since equal questions come from both of them.
Many a times our luck favours us and we only get direct questions like questions from Modern Physcis. But sometimes the paper setter wants you to think out of the box like questions from Mechanics which may require concepts of both 11th and 12th class. In the latter case you won't be able to solve the question or get the accurate result.
Preparing well only 12th syllabus may not fetch you with 150+. Getting 150+  simply means  beating all odds. So, for scoring 150+ it's advisable to prepare well, the basics of 11th class also then 12th class as 11th sets your base in many concepts.
If you are just aiming for JEE Mains then preparing the basics and practicing some questions will surely help you.
All the best
Hope this helps
