by considering your doubt I want to inform you that if talking about percentile so it is not similar to percentage,
you calculate your percentage by adding your marks obtained X hundred and overall divided by total marks.
While percentile is calculated on the basis of students who got less marks than you.
So if talking about 97. 60 percentile, it is not excellent percentile but  still is  good percentile because it varies with 0.00001 factor.
