Electrical engineering in MNNIT Allahabad is far better than MNIT Jaipur. Because in MNIT the placement ratio of electrical is less than MNNIT. But if you want to prepare for GATE, ESE than MNIT is a better option than MNNIT because MNIT is situated in the middle of the city and you can join coaching for GATE and ESE like made easy etc. Mnnit Allahabad would be better in placement as well as in academics.

Also, many students from mnnit have been selected in various competitive exam such as gate, civil services, etc due to its academic friendly environment.

At NIT ALLAHABAD, for BTech in Electrical Engineering the total fees for a 4 years UG course is approximately 6.55 lakhs.
Placements has a rating of about 4.5 out of 5
Infrastructure has a rating of about 3.3 out of 5
Faculty & Course Curriculum got a rating of about 3.8

Out of 88 students, around 84 students got placed from college this year. PSU and many more good electrical companies come for placements. Many students got selected for IT sector jobs because the coding environment of college is good. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA for electrical.

Now for NIT JAIPUR, BTech in Electronics and communication engineering the total fees is approximately 7.08 Lakh for a 4 years UG course.
It has got a rating out of 5 about 4.1 for placements, 4.5 for infrastructure, 3.7 for faculty and course curriculum.

Most of the students got placed from this college for ECE with the highest salary package offered 25 LPA - 30 LPA,  Electrical streams also has the same highest salary package. The average salary package offered varies from 10 LPA - 15 LPA.

Both of MNNIT and MNIT are top National Institutes with excellent infrastructure, faculty, employer outlook and comparable placements in almost all branches. I believe you should prefer the institute which is located in vicinity of your hometown. If not then take ECE at MNIT Jaipur, as ECE has better research and placememt opportunities in both Core and Circuital sectors. Hope that helps.
