Hello, You can appear in both the exams. MAT is conducted four times a year - February, May, September and December. MAT score is accepted by over 600 business schools in the country. The paper based test of MAT 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on December 10 while the computer based will be held on December 16. MAT application form is available from October 5 to December 1. CMAT is conducted for admission to the management programmes of over 1000 management institutes. CMAT 2018 is scheduled to be held on January 20. The application form has been released on October 20. It depends on the colleges that you are targeting. Both the exams have almost the same syllabus and relatively similar difficulty level.

Some good colleges accepting MAT score are TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Christ College, Alliance Business Academy, New Delhi Institute of Management

Some top colleges through CMAT are KJ Somaiya Institute Management and research, Xavier Institute of Social ServiceRanchi, Goa Institute of Management
Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies harihar, BIM TECHNOLOGY Greater NOIDA etc.
