Solution : The correct option is Only I is correct.

I. The presence of H+ ions in the solution gives many acids—weak acids found in foods like citrus fruits, vinegar, and yoghurt, which are sour. 

II. Turns red litmus paper into blue: Acids do not cause litmus paper to turn blue. Acids turn blue litmus paper red. Litmus paper is a pH indicator that changes colour in response to the pH of the fluid with which it comes into contact. When exposed to an acidic solution, blue litmus paper becomes crimson, indicating the presence of an acid. An alkaline (basic) solution causes red litmus paper to turn blue.
