Neet is the only entrance examination for admission to all Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses in India and Abroad. So you can't be a Doctor without Neet. There is no other options than Neet to get admission in any Medical College of India. NEET is the only entrance exam and has been mandated for all medical colleges of India. Now AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS have been merged with Neet and from this year, Neet is the single medical Entrance examination conducted in India. So in order to be a Doctor or for getting admission in Medical Colleges, you need to qualify Neet with a valid score first. Anesthesiology is one of the higher studies options after MBBS. For this you need to complete your MBBS First.
There are certain criteria to be eligible for Neet. As per the Neet eligibility criteria, the candidate must has passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with English and Physics, Chemistry annd Biology or Biotechnology (have to pass in both the theory and practical examination) with at least 50% (for general category) marks in aggregate of PCB (Includes both theory and practical score) and this is 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates and 45% marks for PwD candidates.
