UPSC unfortunately does not offer any courses related to the streams of computer science or information technology. However, there are other science or engineering subjects that you can choose from such as, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering etc.

There is no as such computer or any other relevant to computer subject offered in the UPSC Optional subjects. The lists includes the 25 subjects ranging from medical sciences, to general science, humanities and engineering field. Literature section forms up an another section in the optional list and accounts for about 23 in number. You have the option only for choosing either literature optional or any other subject of your choice mentioned in the list.
