After completion of your petroleum engineering, if you are looking for top reputed jobs then you can appear for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) examination.If you can secure a good a rank in GATE then you can get chance to work in top PSUs like ONGC. If you will get good rank then you will also have the  hance to pursue masters from top IITs and NITs.
