I went through the same thing last year (thus , time flows).
Look, to get into a government college in the first counselling, your rank has to be within 600. If your rank is within 800, you'll have to wait till the 4th counselling. That's the ultimate,800. As for KPC medical college, a rank within 1250 is good enough for the first go. I believe you don't have reservations. If you did, you wouldn't have been so worried.
