No borad percentage doesn't really matters for AIIMS exam, but you are supposed to have 55 % in each of PCB inorder to attend the entrance exam. They won't add your borad marks to entrance exam.

No no, if you are eligible to fill the form, then its absolutely fine. It doesn't create any hindrance.

Though you might have to explain why you opted to take a 1 year drop.

Means, if I score 70+ in 12th board. And clear AIIMS ug with good marks. Then 12 % would not matter. Right?

Right. Its the entrance which matters.

However, good marks in boards as just an advantage.

But just focus on the entrance, as this is all you can do now .

Good luck! :)
