If you are interested in computer science field then it's fine if you take this college, because branches matter the most than college.

IIIT Delhi offers the admission in the following branches(B.Tech):

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Social Science
• Bioscience
• Artificial Intelligence

So in case of CS/IT yes these branches are good than other state engineering colleges.

See this can't be compared.Sometimes a college excceds it's placement than the other.

But the quality and quantity of education is found good in IIIT's.

Hello Santhosh, if you are getting a seat in IIIT-Delhi, you should not go for other state engineering colleges like NIT, Delhi, and others. Because the teachers of IIIT Delhi are very knowledgeable and some of them have studied from the US and they are really interested in teaching to the students. But if you want to go for placements, then maybe it won't be the best choice because IIIT-Delhi is more like a research institute and placements are not that good.
