Are floors of residential house counted in EWS certificate? will i get ews if my house is 2 storeyed?

Dear aspirant,

The ews eligibility criteria is as follows:-

  1. Your family income should not be more than 8L per annum.
  2. You should not own more than 5 acres of land.
  3. You should not own a residential flat of more than 1000 sq ft of flat.

Coming to your doubt , you need not show that you are staying in your permanent home. You can say that you are staying in rent and then you will be absolutely eligible for the ews certificate.
