They are separate.
Jee advanced is conducted for admission in IITs in engineering courses.
If you qualify jee advanced, you can apply for AAT. It's the architecture aptitude test.
It's not compulsory to apply for AAT once you qualify for advanced. It's only to be applied if you want admission in architecture courses present in some IITs.
