Yes of course,  Smartphones are allowed in JSS Medical college hostel as  there is no  restriction to use smartphone in college hostel because nowadays smartphone becomes an essential part in our daily life also Very rarely in any medical college of this country, you'll find restriction for mobile in hostel or classroom. Even some colleges allows laptops in classrooms. These days, medical colleges are shifting towards smart teaching practices from conventional practices.
