What you study in Class 11th will act as a base or concept for your future studies, hence for the basic clarity of concept, studying is important. The marks that you score in 11th will not be acknowledged any where or would not be taken into account for any other purpose. So it is okay even if you do not score much, but make sure you will give importance to your syllabus of 11th while studying.
