You can apply for graduation courses like BBA and BA in event management once you have completed class 12 with at least 50% marks. Here Admissions are usually done through merit list are on the basis of board exam results. However some universities take an aptitude test for selection. Eligibility for diploma courses is obtaining 45-50% minimum marks in class 12.

Admission to PGDM and PGPM for event management is done on the basis of exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc.

Therefore usually no competive exams are conducted for event management but there are some institutes that Carry specific aptitude tests for selection procedure.
