Yes, India is actively introducing industry-aligned certification programs in 2025 to enhance employability and meet sector demands:

  • Punjab : 814 new industry-aligned courses introduced in ITIs .

  • Delhi : rs170 crore initiative to transform 15 ITIs into centres of excellence, focusing on EVs, AI, robotics, and green energy .

  • Odisha : Launch of a 5-month hybrid Certificate in Fintech and Insurtech program in collaboration with the National University of Singapore .

  • National : Initiatives like the BharatNetra program aim to boost fintech and insurtech education .

These programs are designed to equip students with skills in emerging sectors, enhancing their job readiness.
