10% reservation quota for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) among General Category candidates in educational institutions is been provided. If you are considered as Economically Weak or not, it is based on the income and assets of your family.

Various states in India have set their own income cut off to decide who constitutes EWS and the limit for the same may vary. You need to get an “Income and Asset Certificate” from the government authority through online or offline modes to avail the benefits.
