As per the instructions released, NTA says that there shall be a big wall clock as the candidates are not allowed to get barred things such as a watch inside the examination hall. The smartwatch is definitely not allowed in the examination hall. But, if you want to avoid the hassle, go to the examination centre an hour before and carry the watch. There will be a security check before you enter the examination hall. Ask him about the watch. If he/she tells you to remove the watch, then you can keep it in your bag. Else, you can wear it.
