Admissions to UG programes in IIIT Hyderabad is done through JEE Main , Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination - UGEE– CSD/ ECD/ CND/ CLD/ NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC).

B.Tech admission process is based on the counselling through the above-mentioned channels. However, the institute will conduct one entrance test for B.Tech admissions – UGEE and SCA tentatively in third week of April.
