Arts stream is definitely a career oriented stream . All subjects are good and there are number of opportunities for arts students but it's upto your area of interest. 

Best career options for arts stream: 

1. Event management:  event management is a job oriented course , however number of jobs are very few . 

But it's good for ambitious students. Event management is all about keeping in order a focussed and professional event for certain target orders. 

So you should have those skills to get better opportunities if you choose this profession

2. B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): Bachelor of arts is Highly preferred by arts students . 

You get to study subjects of your choice in 3 years B.A course like history, political science, English, hindi, geography, Environmental Science, Buddhism, psychology etc.  

After completing B.A , you can pursue in M.A in degree from a reputed institute, it can open doors for M-Phil and PhD programs

Or you can prepare for UPSC, SSC exams or you can apply for jobs that requires you to be graduate.

3. Hotel management and tourism:  it can easily land you a job if you complete this course successfully. 

Job options after hotel management can be operational positions in hotel industry, event manager, cabin crew , entrepreneurship etc

4. Teacher training- B.Ed: after completing your B ed you can easily find teaching jobs in private as well as government school.

5. Fashion designing: fashion is part of our daily life. So you can choose this option if you have interest in exploration and research, sketching original idea on paper and if you have good knowledge about latest trends and you have interest in Designing clothes then go for it.

6. Graphic designing and Animation:  if you have good knowledge of Animation, Photoshop, fireworks , blend etc then you can work in so many industries like advertisement, print , web designing etc.

7. Journalism and Mass communication:  mass communication is a diversified field and there are lot of opportunities in this field plus you'll enjoy working in this field. 

You can be a part of media field like journalist, reporter, news anchor ,etc and also go for film production, radio, advertising, etc.

8. LLB: if you want to become a lawyer then LLB course would be a best choice for you. 

There are other options like fine arts, BBA , BMS etc. Arts stream is a career oriented stream and you can have number of opportunities and jobs based on your areas of interest , skills and potential.
