As a female BTech graduate which exam should I write to get into the Indian navy

Hello,

Female candidates can join in Indian Navy through Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) in Engineering stream. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate or more from a recognized board. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. There will be four sections namely

  • English
  • Reasoning & Numerical Ability
  • General Knowledge & General Science
  • Mathematical Aptitude

There will be 25 questions is each section. Each question carries 4 marks. One mark will be reduced for each incorrect answer. To qualify in INET a candidate must score minimum 40% marks. It means that a candidate must score  minimum 160 marks out of 400 marks. Candidates who qualify in INET will be selected for SSB interview. The candidates passing in SSB interview will go for medical exam. The final merit list is prepared based on marks scored in SSB interview and INET written test. 50% weightage is given for SSB interview and 50% weightage is given for INET written test.
