Well then in simple terms its still subjective it depends how much you like the the subject like for say if you have an inclination  towards coding, developing programs or interest in subjects like C, C++ and Data Structures, Java, Shell Programming and scripting languages, Database management systems, Design and analysis of algorithms, Computer organization, Computer networks,  Operating systems,  Data communication, Data warehousing and Data mining, Compilers,  Microprocessor Interfacing, Computer Graphics, Multimedia Image Processing and many more then definitely IT is a good and rewarding branch , as they say we have a digital age head , requirement for IT engineers is increasing day by day , which directly means there are ample of job opportunities for an IT/CSE student if compared with other branches and also this branch has very high placement records so if we go by these statistics IT is definitely a good branch .
