 You have selected Cse it's completely programing subject if you would like to get good placement  first of all be prepare well for programing like c,c++,java,python.

So your college starts in August go for coaching as your a beginner so go for c language coaching it will help you alot and while your pursuing your btech along with your btech subjects try to make a time for programing and keep your concentration mainly on programing along with that try to do some Internship there are few apps where you find interships like internshala .

Don't waste your time start your preparation from day one of your btech

You can utilise your time by leaning programming languages such as Java,Python, Scala etc.

Also you can enroll yourself in various short term programs offered by various universities through edx,coursera,udemy.

Also you can do various interships offered online through platforms such as intershala,awign etc.

Hello student yes you may utilise your time by doing online courses or you may start learning new things about your branch so that you already have a grip on your curriculum when everyone start the same in your college.
