Yes, UGC has approved the proposal of pursuing and getting two degrees at the same time, but the only limit is that, the one degree should be of Regular Mode and Another degree should either be in Distance learning mode or private mode.

The candidate can pursue both of the degree form different stream and also from different institutions, and from same institution too, as per their choice.
