Hey! For Assam Police Constable new recruitment, eligibility usually includes:

Education: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam. Minimum qualification is Class 12 pass for most constable posts. For some technical posts like Communication, 12th with PCM or additional qualification is required.

Age Limit: Normally 18 to 40 years (with relaxations for reserved categories as per govt rules).

Physical Standards: Height for male (Gen/OBC/SC) is around 162.5 cm, for female around 154.9 cm. For ST candidates slight relaxation is given. Male candidates also need chest measurement (normal/expanded).

Tests: Candidates have to clear Physical Efficiency Test (running, long jump etc.) and document verification.

Other Requirements: Must be registered in Assam Employment Exchange and sometimes NCC/Home Guard certificate is preferred.
