If you are a general category student then 50k rank will do fetch you NIT or IIIT but only those whose rankings are not upto the mark. For example, NIT srinagar . 

But if you are a category holder then there might be a chance of you getting into your home state nit if it doesn't come in top 10.

Otherwise you should probably go for JEE ADVANCE  and score better in that so that you can reserve a good IIT.
