Hi aspirant,

According to the guidelines of NTA, you should have mentioned the name as on the 10th and 12th marksheets since you have not obeyed it the authorities have full power to deny your candidature during the counselling process. But you can explain your problem to the verifying officer at the time of documents verification and submit a self attested affidavit mentioning your fault supported by relevant documents and marksheets.

In most cases your problem will be resolved but the final decision will be of that officer only.
