It is highly recommended to inquire about the placement details to students and alumni as most of the placement reports are inflated and there will be many terms like package offered - which may or may not recruit. For example, if company X offered 25 lakhs and did not recruit, still report may show it as highest package offered. Do not trust any placement report and do due diligence to find facts.

Last year average package of IMT Ghaziabad was Rs. 10.8 lakh and highest package of Rd. 21.17 lakh. Around 535 students including those in the flaship and DCP programme participated in the placements.

Around 105 companies made 357 offers to students. Over 52 offers of Rs. 15 Lakh, with nearly 20 of them touched the Rs. 20 Lakh mark.

In order to get a call from IMT Ghaziabad aim for 90+ percentile. Also look for your profile that includes 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, extra curriculars as these are also parameters included in aggregate score with different weightages to call students for next round of interview and WSAT.

With 90+ percentile you can also target colleges like IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, TAPMI, Great lakes institute of Management, Chennai etc. which also have similar placement records.
