Hi, this is the current scenario.
Salary depends on the company at most.
Electrical Engineer earns an average salary of Rs 3.5 lacs per year. PSUs package ranges from 7 lacs to 14 lacs. The highest paying PSU is Power Grid Corporation India Ltd. which gives a package of around 14 lacs to an Electrical engineer trainee.
