If you want to join the Bank as a bank manager in some government banks I.e public sector banks you will have to appear for bank po exam. So there is not really any connection between the course you will be doing and the bank exam you will give. Also the po exam will have sections like Maths English Logical reasoning GK. So as you can see that there is no link. Yes but if you want to join banks UG in Bcom account and finance will definitely once you join the bank. You will have a good understanding of various concepts like financial institutions, money market, capital market, equities, derivatives etc.

So decide wisely. If you want to do bcom just make sure you prepare for the Bank exam simultaneously as you can write the exam even in your final year. And if you clear the exam you can join the Bank right after your bcom.
