If you ask me what matters... the thing which matters the most is Skills... the interviewer will hire the one who has skills, whether it is a B.Tech guy or bca. The more skillfull you are the sooner you will get hired.
So your question, in two worlds degree doesn't matter. Only skills matter.
My advice for you would be simple. you can do any of the degree courses. But focus on what you are learning and become better in that.
