Both of these courses are of 3 years. The basic difference between BA(hons) and BA is that BA hons in a specialisation in a particular subject and in BA you study general subjects of arts like history, geography, pol science. If you want to specialise in a particular subject then go for BA hons. It totally depends on your choice.
