Hello,

Here are the steps:-

1. In first year, Practice programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python. for competitive exam:- C++ and java is basically used to deal with time and space complexity. in 1st sem:- learn programming. in 2nd semester, learn data structure which will include stack, queue, list, linked list, tree, graph, AVL. (if you want a job in product company with your interest domain, data Structure is important)

2. in 2nd year, 3rd semester you will learn complete basics of Computer science world. Make sure for every subject , you have clear concept. You will learn Design of algorithm and make sure that you are fluent in it. for any interview you will go they will ask about it. you can get guide from youtube and many webpages where you can practice coding.

in 4rth semester, you will learn other programming language like SQL/PLSQL, Assembly, bash, shell scripting, HTML/CSS/Java script/ servlet. These are domain based. better to practice and know how these works.

do some small projects in Database, web development, android, API.

in 3rd year, you will learn trending topics or advance topics:- choose as per your interest. if you like all of them then you can read all. here you will get time to prepare for Aptitude, Logical reasoning, verbal and non-verbal reasoning and practice coding for competitive programs organized by MNCs . They offer good salary package.

in 4rth year, you will be busy with daily placement activities and project work.

as said above follow them. Keep few things in mind:- Coding i.e. programming language expert+ data structure + algorithm will give you job at top fortune 400 companies like Google, Microsoft.  That is the only key.

for technical round, they will ask questions from your 2-4th year syllabus + programming. There will be some subjective and some will be coding questions. while you do coding questions, it is important to check out for time complexity, space  complexity i.e. optimization.

if you will follow as mentioned above, you will get good enough time to each and every process.

Hope it helps!

hello

The first year of your b.tech includes common syllabus for everyone(branch) which deals with subjects that you have learned from the class 11, class 12 and 10th class. To be more brighter in your b.tech career in CSE part. in the first year itself go with the basics of programming part and try to learn to multiple ways solution for one problem in programming. As you have much more time in 1st year go with some basics of the logical reasoning and aplitude training so that you can be more profound when you come to the 4th year of your b.tech and also you can make better performance in the placements/interview.

thank you
