If you (your caste) fall under the OBC central list or OBC state list of Telangana, then you do not need to apply for EWS certificate as you are already an OBC (Other backward class) category candidate and you can get reservation benefits for same. But if you do not fall under any of the two lists then you need to satisfy the EWS eligibility criteria, after that you can apply for EWS category certificate by visiting the Tehsildar Office in your area with the required documents.
