b.e is best for work as a graduate engineer trainee from EEE stream., In india highest salary is paid for eee engineers from psu like power grid, NTPC, ongc, Indian oil etc. starting salary is around 60k, private organization like siemens , qualcomm also has lucrative packages. however for placement scenario your college plays a vital role , if you get admission in NITS or IITs then certainly you may expect a package of 8-10lpa from eee stream, but state government colleges placement scenario for core engineering is not good, often core streams applicants have to go for IT for non availability of core companies related to stream. so in that case m.tech from reputed institute like iits, bits pilani , DTU is highly recommended .
