Check the ratings here. Pick some colleges that you would prefer, do your research by checking student blogs, facebook and student forums for an opinion. Basically these would help you understand if faculty is good, if infrastructure is as promised and placement reality. Otherwise it all depends upon the student, how he/she performs in B.Tech and how he/she carries it forward.
