Eligibility criteria of Merchant Navy for diploma courses-

Candidates for two-year diploma courses must have a diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Shipbuilding Engineering with a minimum total score of 50%.

You should be unmarried at the time of joining.

The Merchant Navy, aptly termed "Shipper Marine," is an important part of the global distribution sector and an important aspect of any country's economy.

If you want to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Merchant Navy, you must meet the following requirements.

Physics, Chemistry, and Math are required subjects in 12th grade science.

At least 60% passing is required.

The recommended minimum age range is 17 to 25 years old.

Entrance exams for technical courses include the IMU CET, JEE ADVANCED, TMI SAT, and MERI ENTRANCE EXAM.

You can also join on the basis of sponsorship from mari time institutes.

Lateral entry is available after completing first year engineering in mechanical or electrical with a minimum of 60% OR a diploma in electrical, mechanical, marine, or shipbuilding engineering with a minimum of 60%.

Medical fitness test is also a very important criteria.
