the previous questions do not repeat in exams such as neet or JEE mains, but solving a lot of mcq questions will surely help you build a strong concept for all the topics and then you will have higher chances depending on the practise you have made to solve questions in the exam.

note that the questions that are in the previous year question papers are very helpful.
