Hi Aspirant,

CSIR UGC NET is an national exam held annually conducted by the Scientific and industrial research.

The syllabus for these exams requires the candidate to be well versed with human biology, animal biology, genetics, evolution, biochemistry and many more.

Books to refer that will be helpful:

1) Biochemistry by David Nelson and Michael M. Cox

2) Genetics by BD Singh

3) Cell and Molecular Biology by Robertis De

4) Organic Evolution - Veer Bala Rastogi.

5) Plant Physiology - Ross and Salisbury

6) Gene Cloning and DNA analysis by TA Brown.

7) Forensic Science by Dr. Anu Singla.

For practice:

The best book i would recommend is

1) Ace the Race plus: MCQ's for CSIR UGC NET Life Sciences

Vol 1 - 8000 MCQ's

Vol 2 - Answers and Explaination.

Thank you.
