Greetings,
this is an interesting prospect. you should look at it from these angles:
- What you wish to accomplish:
doing M.tech after MBA has to have a solid reason in terms of employment plans and career goals. Anybody will inquire as to why you chose such a peculiar combo to study. So have a clear goal about the future before deciding what to study for it. If you have the option to study B.tech then choose that over BSc.
- Time taken:
BSc+MBA+M.tech will take a lot of time (at least 7 years without gap)
while B.tech+MBA will take 6 years. Once again the combo will only make sense if you make it make sense ( what I mean is that such decisions of field change should be justifiable to the employers as well as to yourself)
- Degree value:
B.tech+MBA is typically preferred as a combination but if you do BSc from a college of DU then that would be better than doing B.tech from a local or private college.
- Opportunities:
Naturally, B.tech+MBA students have more opportunities in the job market owing to their versatility. If you do BSc+ MBA then the bulk of opportunities available to you would largely depend upon your MBA experience (the institute from which you do your MBA, your branch in MBA, etc.). It does not make much sense to pursue M.tech after doing MBA unless you do it for personal satisfaction or research, the job market may not pay much heed to it or appreciate such 'haphazard' qualifications.
Bottom line:
- have a clear career goal first
- College of study matters a lot in India
- 2 degrees are better than 2 if you get the same kind of job opportunities or salaries. (having 3 distinct degrees does not necessarily improve chances, expertise and experience matters more)
hope you had some clarity.
Best of luck, do not rush these decisions.
