Every year, JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) Kakinada administers the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).  In order to enable students pursue further education in the field of their choice, it is a standard admission exam.  The new name for AP EAMCET is AP EAPCET.

To get BTech admission in 2025 through AP EAPCET (formerly AP EAMCET), you must first appear for the exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. Candidates must have passed or appeared in Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. After the exam, qualifying candidates will be invited for AP EAPCET counselling, where seat allotment is based on your rank, category, preferences, and availability of seats.

The counselling process is conducted online and includes certificate verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institute. You can get admission into various government and private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh through this process.
