Generally, AP ECET cutoffs are released separately for branches like CSE, ECE, Civil, Mechanical, EEE, IT, etc., and also category-wise such as General, SC, ST, BC-A, BC-B, and so on. For top branches like CSE and ECE, the cutoffs are usually high – meaning you need a good rank (within 1,000–2,000) for reputed colleges. For other branches like Civil or Mechanical, the cutoffs are relatively lower. Marks also play a role, as most students who score above 100 marks out of 200 get decent ranks.
