All is set if you have completed your b.tech or you are in final year.You can prepare for gate 2019,there are numerous of opportunity for mechanical engineers.Following are the companies you can get :

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) ...
Electronics Corporation of India Limited. ...
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) ...
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) ...
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL)

If you don't have interest then you can prepare for

ESE(mechanical engineering) or other state level psc exams.
