I think if you ask this question yourself than it will be better because before doing something you should intrested for this.

If you interested to do job in technology field than you can choose B.tech or than intrested than you can join hotel management.

Both things is good if  you campare According to scope than less scope in engineering now day but if you will do really good than not problem.

*If you do B. tech from a top or a well reputed Institute, then you have chances of a higher salary than after completion of hotel management. But if you complete b. tech from a not so well established college, doing hotel management from a top/ good Institute would land you with a better salary, job security etc. So in the end your job, salary etc.., would depend on your capabilities and also your area of interest.
