hi,

nimcet is the entrance test of nits to get admission in 3 years/ 6 semester mca courses in nits.

its not a lateral entry admission test, after clearing nimcet you need to study from the first years of mca course. mca course through nimcet exam is offered by 11 different nits in india.

Tejas Chaudhari even if you complete your bsc, you need to study from the first year of mca as per nimcet eligibility criteria. and in nits no lateral entry option is available.

Manidipa Kundu And what about now? AICTE announced MCA to be 2 years form 2020-21 academic session. It's 2022 now. So, has it really been 2 years course as NIT is also AICTE approved Institute???
