Hi aspirant,

The jossa counseling process doesn't work like that by chance you will be allocated the same seat. It completely depends upon the choice filling done by you that upgrade in your preference order is possible or not. For example if you been alloted ninth preference filled by you then you will be allocated any of the preference above that choice only if the  seats in those preference are empty. You should also know that when a seat remains vacant all the rank holders which are placed above you you are are up in the pecking order so you may have to wait for more rounds.

In case there is no upgrade in your preference order of choices you will retain the initially allotted seat (if any).

Hope it helps!!
