Hello Ritik. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and I hope we will be able to support you.
Noyice that JEE Mains, though it is based on the NCERT/CBSE syllabus for class 11 and 12, not all questions come from them.
The Mains exam also requires lateral thinking. Sometimes, questions are asked from the last topics in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These can be covered in one day.
But, for all other topics, the NCERT books only aren't sufficient. You need to practice from these sources to get into a NIT of your choice:
Basically, focus on the topics as I have written in my previous answer here: https://www.careers360.com/question-what-are-most-important-topics-in-jee-mains-2017-that-can-assure-cutoff-marks-within-the-10-days
Hope this is useful. All the best!
Hello Ritik From my personal experience, I would suggest going through your NCERT books specially for Chemistry. Inorganic Chemsitry is one such section, for which I would highly recommend the NCERT text books. Many a times, even direct questions have come in JEE Mains from NCERT books. However, for getting NITs, considering the huge competition in JEE Mains, you would definitely need to go through other books for more and more practise. Practise more and more previous year question papers, give tests and stay determined. All the best !
