Calculate the mean, median, and mode of the following data set using the appropriate Excel functions.

You haven't specified the data set. However, you can use the steps below to calculate mean, median, and mode in Ms. Excel.

To calculate the MEDIAN ,
  • Select the range of cells in Ms. Excel, select a blank cell,
  • And type the formula =MEDIAN ( B1: B9 ). B1: B9 indicates the range of data cells or the cells for which you want to calculate the median.
  • Press Enter key.

To calculate MEAN
Type =AVERAGE and select the range of cells to calculate MEAN.

To calculate MODE
  • Type =MODE
  • Select the range of cells
  • Press Enter

Alternatively, use this pathway.

Formulas-----> Click on Math and Trig dropdown menu----->choose from the list or click on insert and search the function you want to insert in the excel.
